Sending a link by email is very easy and straightforward in Firefox and Internet Explorer. But there is no built-in facility, in Google Chrome, to send a link by email. You will need to fire up your email client, copy the link manually in the client and send the email.

But don’t worry. There is a simple and fast way to send a link by email in Google Chrome. Just follow the following steps:

1. Right click on bookmarks bar.
2. Click “Add page”. Edit Bookmarks window will come up.

3. In the text field next to the “Name”, type something descriptive for example “Email Link”.
4. In the text field next to the “URL”, type the JavaScript code given below:

javascript:location.href='mailto:?SUBJECT='+document.title+'&BODY='+escape(location.href);

5. Click on bookmarks bar.
6. Click Save.

As the result of the above steps, a new bookmark with appear in the bookmarks bar. Now if you come across an interesting link, just click the “Email Link” bookmark. The link of the webpage will go in the body of the email and the page title becomes the subject of email.
